Boundaries

Often over-used, the word 'boundaries' has come to mean many different ideas, even emotions.
There are loads of (useful and helpful) studies by educated men and women longing to free and equip those of us struggling through life on this very subject.

Very recently, I am struggling with this word and am very practically trying to define it, put it into some sort of manageable box, without much success at all. Boundaries are subjective. Each of us has a world view that is unique, formed (according to many reliable sources) by the age of 5 or 6. I can assure you that I did not know the word by that age, but by now am very aware of the ramifications of the crossing of said boundaries.

And now, at this stage, I find an individual encroaching on the marital boundary that we have worked so diligently to maintain, against formidable odds. I am praying for diligence, discernment, wisdom, steadfastness, unity of mind, and am feeling not very supported. There is peace; I will press on.

That is all.
